Barnstormers and Joy Marchand sites launched
Friday, February 22nd, 2008

This week, we launched two new websites to promote different areas of the publishing industry:

  • The Barnstormers site promotes a new book series by Loren Long and Phil Bildner.  This illustrated series for children is about “Three kids, a mystery, and a magic baseball.”  The site contains lots of cool behind-the-scenes stuff such as studies for the books’ illustrations.  Soon, it will also contain plenty of online games.
  • Joy Marchand is a prolific author of short fiction and poetry.  Her site also functions as a portal to her various blogs, where she posts photo essays, book reviews, and more.

Please take a few minutes to check out the websites of these fine folks.

Thunderstorm Books website launched
Friday, February 8th, 2008

This week, we unveiled the new website for Thunderstorm Books, and whew, is it dark!  But then, of course, Thunderstorm is a publisher of collectible tomes from the horror genre, including the limited edition of Bryan Smith’s House of Blood, which Deena did the cover for.

It’s been a pleasure to work with publisher Paul Goblirsch, and we hope you’ll check out his company’s site.

Discover a New Sprite!
Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Are you or someone you know dying to see the new Spiderwick Chronicles movie?  What better way to bide the time than by playing a cool new game designed by us!  Check out the Borders Media site and click on the link called “Discover a New Sprite.”

We were thrilled to work with Matt Schwartz at Simon & Schuster to develop this game.  Pass it along to all your friends!

Groundhog Day Treats
Friday, February 1st, 2008

This week we were as busy as a one-legged, one-armed wallpaper hanger!  First there’s a new cover for Jazz Improv NY magazine and a cover design for Midnight on Mourn Street by Christopher Conlon, a new novel from Earthling Publications.  We also launched a website for Trinity Moravian Church of New Carrollton, Maryland.

Thumbnails of these projects are on the right sidebar, or you can just click on the links above.

Now we’re ready to kick back, enjoy our weekend, and see if Phil sees his shadow!
