We’ve just launched the website for Perseus Distribution, a major distributor for independent publishers since 1999.  As a member of the Perseus Books Group, PD has offices in New York and Tennessee, with over 1 million square feet of warehouse space.  It was a pleasure to once again work with Perseus.

Today, we launched a new online bookstore for Croatoan Publishing, an independent book publisher in Illinois specializing in limited edition horror titles.  Their first two books are by authors Ronald Kelly and James Newman.

Croatoan already had a website, but they asked us to design and program their online shopping cart.  Please browse through their store and pick up a book or a lifetime subscription to all of their titles.  Their debut book ships April 1.

There’s a little less than a week left in the first annual Pulse Blogfest from Simon & Schuster, an event where more than 120 authors and fans come together to share ideas on one single blog. 

Our involvement was that Deena designed the look and feel of the blog–creating the background artwork and programming the template for the author blogs.  Here’s what it looks like:

Two new things to tell you about:

First, we freshened up the website we did last year for the Friendship Games, an international basketball tournament that takes place in Tel Aviv.  Here’s what it looks like:

Also, Guide Dog Books asked Deena to create a cover image and to design the cover (i.e., lay out the text) of her husband Matthew Warner’s new non-fiction book, Horror Isn’t a 4-Letter Word: Essays on Writing & Appreciating the Genre.  You can see that cover in the right sidebar or in the book cover gallery. 

We’ve just posted a new website for Creative Expressions, an African-American owned design and marketing firm in New York that does just about everything print-design related.  Man, do they do a lot of stuff.   (Except for websites, hence coming to us.)  Deena also did a cool Flash movie that runs when you go to their site.  As one design firm for another, we had a lot of fun doing this one.
