The National Jazz Museum in Harlem has been active in the NYC community for over five years. They provide lectures, educational resources, and musical performances to thousands of people. Their weekly free programming has expanded waaay beyond the limits of their small office space.
It was announced today that the historic Victoria Theater on 125th Street in Harlem will be redeveloped to include space for the museum. They will get over 10,000 feet of space. What a great accomplishment!
I am very proud of Loren, Wilhelmina and the entire board of the Jazz Museum. They work tirelessly to promote jazz and provide outstanding resources to the community. It will be amazing to see them blossom in this new space.
Congratulations!
